The Adelaar boasts 4 staterooms with a capacity of 8 adults or 8 adults and 3 children in case of private charters, all our luxury cabins have state-of-the-art entertainment systems and individually controlled air-conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms equipped with a Jets vacuum toilet, Kohler wash basin and Grohe hot water shower and amenities from Sensatia Botanicals including calming shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Adelaar Signature & Manta Cruises: Bali-Komodo-Bali - 10 nights
Our signature Bali–Komodo–Bali dive cruise is the best way to explore Komodo National Park and its surroundings without the hassle of domestic flights. Dive all the famous Komodo sites as well as the best spots along the northern coastline of Sumbawa. The day of your cruise departure our expert driver pick up you early in the morning at your hotel or resort in Bali to take you at Serangan Harbour, meeting point to embarking on Adelaar Liveaboard. Starting from Bali you will visit and dive Satonda Island, Gili Lawa Laut before arriving Komodo National Park, where you will dive the best dive sites of Komodo, Rincia, Nusa Kode and Padar in the South of Komodo Archipelago, Wainilu in the center region and Gili Lawa Laut and Gili Lawa Barat in the North. Returning Bali you will dive the clear water sand black sandy bottoms around Sangeang Volcano and the fringing reefs of Moyo Island. Komodo & Beyond Cruise: Bali-Komodo-Maumere - 10 nights
Our one-way trips offer guests more time in Komodo and a bit less time spent traveling long distances. This is ideal for people who wish to explore the island of Flores and its amazing wonders, before or after their time on Adelaar. On this itinerary, we focus more attention on the Komodo National Park, but still with a chance to dive and explore Moyo or Satonda Islands along the northern coastline of Sumbawa.
Our December and January trips have an added plus of a South Komodo itinerary, as we have found this to be the absolute best time for weather and water conditions in this remote area. These one-way trips will require a one-way domestic flight to/from Maumere.
Komodos & Whale Sharks Special: Our best keep secret - 10 nights
Together with a marine biologist, we focus these Komodo diving trips around a stop in a bay where a permanent aggregate of whale sharks call home. Think of our Bali - Komodo trip, with a special bonus! While sightings are not 100% guaranteed, we closely coordinate our timing to coincide with the new moon and will have constant communication with our onsite coordinator. Don’t ask us where it is… it’s a secret!
Komodo Exclusive Cruise: Komodo-Komodo - 10 nights
This route is intensely focused in and around the Komodo National park. However, we will venture outside the Park and travel westward as far as Sangeang Volcano, a dive site destination that is so special, we just have to include it! The sights are filled with an assortment of marine life whose vibrant colours contrast starkly against a dark volcanic sand backdrop. This itinerary will begin and end in Labuan Bajo, Flores and will require a round trip domestic flight to/from Labuan Bajo.
Alor & Banda Sea Cruise: Maumere-Ambon - 10 nights
Alor & Banda Sea is very special itinerary, and we are sure it will fill up quickly, as it is prime time for diving in this remote part of Indonesia. Think crystal clear waters, deep walls, submerged pinnacles, remote volcanos and amazingly pristine underwater reefs. Imagine big pelagics: hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, mola molas, tuna, rainbow runners, black and white tip sharks, and maybe even a silky shark. Envision all of those small underwater treasures: frogfish, pontohi seahorses or halimeda ghost pipefish, thorny seahorses, rhinopias, and ribbon eels.
Beginning in Maumere, we take you eastward to the Alor Archipelago before to eastward further to explore The Banda Sea. Seldom visited and culturally diverse, we offer you a mix of diving and a chance to interact with the indigenous tribes. The local children often dive in and swim down to divers during their safety stop.
Alor is famous for macro as well as pelagic encounters along the colourful walls and drop offs. You should expect current and advanced diving. This itinerary requires a round trip domestic flight to/from Maumere-Ambon or Ambon-Maumere.

Forgotten Islands Cruise: Maumere-Saumlaki-Maumere - 11 nights
Indonesia’s “Forgotten Islands” or Tanimbar Archipelago and another islands of the Banda Sea Arc are not a single destination, but an indefinite number of itineraries in continuous exploration. Rather a 1.000 km long chain of archipelagos stretching from Timor to West Papua on the island of New Guinea. Remote, undeveloped and far from the beaten paths these islands have an incredible history and is source of study of anthropologists of all times. The topography of these islands varies from forested mountainous peaks in the Inner Banda Arc of islands, to essentially flat islands of the easternmost Aru and Kai island groups, dominated by savannah, mangroves and broadleaf forests. This will be an unforgettable diving trip!
Banda Sea Cruise: Ambon-Ambon - 10 nights
Diving the Banda Sea brings you to incredibly rich waters in the Inner Seas of Indonesia. The area is known for its crystal-clear waters, deep walls and pinnacles, awesome overhangs. The coral reef is pristine and so are the landscape. Some of the islands located in southern Maluku are becoming famous for encounters with hammerhead sharks. The islanders are friendly and their villages are characteristic, some of them are now committed with the conservation of their local reef, as in the case of island of Nusa Laut. Join us to dive and explore this very remote area of the Coral Triangle. This itinerary requires a round trip domestic flight to/from Ambon.

The Adelaar is a 39m Dutch Schooner built with impeccable standards and from 1991-1992 transformed in a sumptuous classical yacht style. The luxurious interior of Adelaar today, bears almost no resemblance of her past self. What started as a small 6 month project in 2008 to add ensuite bathrooms, escalated into a dream for a more exquisite and classical look. When the historic sailboat was unveiled in 2011 after almost 3 years in the making, the results were stunning. Adelaar was rebuilt to impeccable standards, in classical yacht style, with panelled teak wood walls and high ceilings throughout.

Your private charter is a trip that can be totally personalized, it begins with a base rate to which additional costs may be applied depending on the route and particular requirements: port & park fees, fuel surcharge, land packages and repositioning costs, if there are any.
